Time Flies...

when you are having fun!

I can't believe it is November already. Time is going so fast. There is not a lot new around here. But just thought I would say hello.

We are starting to learn endocrinology (diabetes and thyroid disorders are the two biggest things) this week, which is a big part of family practice. So it is fun to really learn the meat of what we will be treating. Our schedule has been altered a little, but for the better. Our faculty is constantly making changes and bettering our program. We now have a radiology lab on Tuesdays. The past two weeks we have learned to read chest xrays. Really cool! And then on Friday afternoons (no more free time!) we have FLEX learning which is just clinically applying the stuff we've learned. We have been taking patient histories and we each get a chance to dictate the note into the little recorder thing. You know like you see on TV, "51 year old male, presents with..." This is the real deal, it's so fun!

Jeff is doing well. Continuing to work like crazy. As mom says, "gotta make hay while the sun's shining!" They have a big job at the Exxon Mobile distribution plant. It's high profile!

And the dogs are...well spoiled rotten and crazy!

So we hope everything is going well for all of you.

Love and miss you, Jennifer

Happy Halloween!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween.
Jeff and I are so excited to stay home and hand out candy. Back home we never got trick-or-treaters because of our long dark driveway, so...I stocked up my witches cauldron with yummy candy. I picked our favorites just in case we have left overs :-)
Oh and those pumpkins on the porch...they're fake!
Enjoy your evening and be safe whatever you do.
Happy Halloween!

Love,
Jeff, Jennifer, Miley, and Roy

oh and Roy is not pictured, he is feeling a little under the weather
